Hanze University of Applied Sciences is lead partner in the TraCS3 project which is funded by Interreg Europe. The project addresses challenges on regional innovation infrastructures, which are the backbone of dynamic regional innovation ecosystems.
Questions that are addressed during the project are:
- How to improve the support for regional innovation infrastructure?
- How to get better employment for the innovation infrastructure?
- Can there be more involvement in innovation value chains?
TraCS3 also looks for solutions for regions to increase their innovation capacities.
- What is needed to build innovation and research excellence in regions?
- How to enable interregional collaboration?
- What do regions need to open up their innovation potential to the world?
Throughout the project, ecosystem regional project partners are involved as much as possible through stakeholder meetings and the interregional exchange of knowledge meetings. Partners will look for ways to stimulate the development and utilisation of innovation infrastructures.
The capacities of research and innovation institutions provide access to the necessary technology infrastructures. This is needed for upscaling, prototyping and validation of new solutions before an enterprise can enter the market.
