As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities, EURASHE, in collaboration with UASNL, is organizing an in-person workshop on the 8th of October at 16:30 at the Albert Borschette Congress Center. We invite you to join this workshop and take part in discussing the value of the strong regional connections of Applied Science Universities in Europe.
The European University Initiative was launched in 2019 to deepen transnational cooperation among Higher Education Institutions. Yet, these alliances of HEIs, especially those with an applied nature, can also connect their regions, attracting and retaining talent and skills for economic transformation.
This session will bring together regional stakeholders, HEIs, and European policymakers to discuss how European University Alliances can make a difference in their cities and regions. The session will welcome Karel Herman Haegeman from the EC Joint Research Center, Bledar Kurti from Albanian University Tirana, Mendeltje van Keulen from UASNL, and John Edwards from EURASHE.
Registrations open on 1 July at this link.
