We are happy to announce that UASNL has become a new member of the GUNi network. GUNi (Global University Network for innovation) is an international network that has over 20 years of experience in strengthening the role of higher education and is currently one of the largest think tanks on higher education policy and management. Currently the network has 250 members from over 80 countries which range from higher education institutions to research centres, networks related to higher education and UNESCO Chairs.
Some of the major topics that GUNi is currently working on are related to synergies between Science, Technology & Humanities, Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). When it comes to the implementation of the 2030 agenda and the sustainable development goals, GUNi plays an important role. The network also organises multiple seminars, workshops and international conferences on the topic of SDGs as well as taking part in projects.
As a network that is also committed to the goals of the SDGs, UASNL is excited to become an official member of GUNi. By sharing information and best practises with fellow members of this network, both UASNL and other members of the GUNi network will collaborate to improve the quality of applied research and tackle global issues.
